This inspiring kit contains six skeins of yarns, including 2 x 50g skeins of mohair, 2 x 75g of 100% merino superwash sock yarn (jitterbug), and 2 x 100g of ‘one zero’ chunky slub 100% wool.     The wool arrived wrapped in tissue paper, in a box, which, to me, shows how much the company cares about their products. This makes me want to order from them again, so I'd better get knitting!

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Can you interchange the yarns?

    Not all of them. You can interchange the mohair skeins with mohair. You can interchange the jitterbug with the jitterbug skeins. Etc.. But you cant swap a yarn type.

    Is there enough yarn to make the shawl?

    Yes there is enough to make the shawl shown with yarn to spare. We always try to add extra to allow for differing knitting styles.

    What is the size of the Shawl?

    Approx 160cm in diameter

    Are the kits hard to make?

    Colinette believes in keeping things nice and easy. So don't panic it is very much a project that will get finished

    What size knitting needles?

    Generally the pattern uses 8mm knitting needles but the information will be included in the booklet.
